Ram 3500 Dually

I am looking at buying a used Turbo Diesel Dually. I don't really plan to tow anything except maybe a trailer when I move, but I want a turbo diesel dually because of the power and looks. So for a to be used as a normal truck what year 2001-2004 would be best to buy and would one with 100k-150k last for a while? I don't want to spend more than 19K on it and it seems that for those years that is the mileage I am looking for.

Also what are some known problems.

RE: Ram 3500 Dually

Two problems I found:

#53 blocks stamped with 53 are bad and the water jacket lining breaks below the exhaust manifold
VP44 Injector pump dies because the lift pump doesn't output enough to it. So it looks like when I do go buy one I'll end up buying a new lift pump (aftermartket) and putting it on the frame and installing a fuel pressure gauge.
