ride qaulity of 03 ram 1500
 

have 03 1500 full size 3.7that has a shimmy/vibration that starts around 35mph and again at about 60. Have had new tires, alignment,shocks,driveshaft balanced, new u-joints,still have the same problem. I feel nobrake pedal fluctuation like a bad rotor. I'm about at wits end! Does anyone have any ideas?</P>

David, I have an 03 that shimmys bad as it passes thru 10 mph. Dodge will not fix it nor my bad rotors after 4 trys and 2 letters to the Alabama Att. General.Dodge Warranty IS WORTHLESS!!!!!!! My Ram is a 1500 LWB 5.7 Hemi with 25000 miles. I guess I shouldnt have paid cash or I would DUMP IT IN THEIR LAP!!!!!!!!

Did you try to replace the stabalizer shock on the front axle? It seems a lot of dealership's look this over. You can do it yourself, the shock itself cost about $50. This is a common problem for chrysler 4x4's. Rams, Jeeps etc.
