Will it Pull or Not?
Will the 1/2 ton pull my 8'x20' enclosed trailer, trailer and cargo total 8000 lbs. They claim to be able to tow 10k. I will tow the trailer appr 6000 miles per year and drive 18,0000 without it. Total 24k.

You ask for help... but you seem to have left out a lot of key pieces of information.
Do you have the new Ecodiesel? WHAT ENGINE?
They say it will pull 10k Who are THEY? What does your owner's manual recommend is the max tow capacity?
Does your truck have a tow package?
What is the tongue weight on your enclosed trailer?
What class of hitch do you have on your truck?
