'79 Dodge Lil Red Express
Hello Everybody. I am a new member to this forum looking to gain knowledge about trucks, how to fix them, tune them up, etc. Well what brought me here right now is a Lil Red Express. My pap has had one sitting in his yard under a tarp for 5-10 years. I've seen pictures of it but they were not recent. I know they are a collectors truck and he said he'd give it to me. I live in PA and am wondering how much the weather has taken its toll on the exterior and engine. I hope the wood on it isn't rotted out. I imagine ill have to replace the breaks, tires, change the oil and some other basic stuff. What kind of shape do you think the engine, transmission, etc will be in? i know you guys cant give me all the answers but im just trying to find out some stuff before i go see it. Also what could 5-10 years done to the chrome and paint job?
