Default 2006 Ford F150

I'm not pleased with the small size of the tires that originally came on my 2006 F150 1/2ton (235/70/17). I've been searching used tires and have found some great deals on tire/rim combos. As long as I stick with the standard 6 lug, what are my options on larger tires? How big can I go without worry of rubbing the wheel well? Thanks!!

To get your really best answer, I would go to large tire store. Or on line to a place like tire-rack.com I hope this helps.

I'd try a 265/70R17.
