can i add a Brake controller
 

looking in to a new 2012 fx4 crew cab ceo boost with 3:73 LS rear end and only thing it doesn't have is a brake controller. so i want to know if i can add one? i am signing the deal Friday when it gets here!

Yes, you can add brake controller by your self but as your fx4 is new dont take risk with your self. Just ask to the professional mechanic or go to the ford dealership.

ya first thing this morning i called my dealer and they will add it for $575 dollars or i can buy it and add it for $220 plus a flash of the computer witch they will do for free for me so i ordered the part and am doing it my self! plus i got tow mirrors on order for $ 380 for the pair. i just need to find some one to paint them to match. i found a site where they show just how easy it is to change them out and every thing!

just so you know i did it all my self and (mirrors and controller) for $600. it ws so easy i am glad i didn't take it to dealer. for 575 they would have added the brake controller and $25 dollars more i got both and dealer flashed IT FOR FREE! then they thought it came from factory (not hooked up) like that they gave me a free oil change and tire rotation them they gave my truck a 100 point inspection. when a came buy after work(for pick up) they told me what thay did and i told them i got it after marke and they gave me another voucher for a free oil change and i can use it when ever or what ever car i chose. so they have taken good care of me.
but back to install of brakes and mirrors it was so easy i was done in less than a hour!
