exhaust
 

Hey guys, new to this forum. Just wanted to ask what I can do for an exhaust on my '96 F-150 2wd reg. cab. I basically want it to sound as loud as possible, but not obnoxious, and still pass inspection. I also want to keep it cheap (I'm 17 and just bought a brand new bike, so I have no money basically) so under $500 would be sweet. Thanks.

hey bud i got an answer for you go to jegs.com or order a catolog and you can get a dynomax exaust system for only $250.00 with out tax.Plus it gives you 24 more horsepower and 25 ft. lbs of torque and it even says that it does in the catolog so here is your answer and i wish the best for youand your 96 ford pickup. your welcome Travis.

plus the exaust system doesnt say anything about it being loud but i bet it is because my uncle just but the same exaust system for his 1995 ford and says it sounds pretty good accelerating and just cruising down the highway,and he says he really notices the power it gives between 1700rpm-4800rpm.your welcome on your reply Travis

a good header would be great. there are lots of ford exhaust sytem that you can choose from. really depends on what/which kind you want. the money that you are willing to spend would also matter in whatever upgrades you want to do. good luck mate.
