OK i bought a 2012 silverado and it's been in the shop now off and on for three months so to day when i did my daily dealer drop off i walked across the road to see the ford's. man the f150s are sure nice looking but i have to ask will it be enough to pull my 8900# trailers thats fully loaded weight? eny one here have one and can tell me how you like it please let me know

What are the specs on your chevy? Ford has a 5L and 6.2L engine and I think both are rated for 11,000 lbs towing. The 6.2L has more power and would be better for towing the trailer.

Yes, Ford F150 has a towing capacity of 11,500 pounds with a payload capacity of 3060 pounds.

ya i have a dealer who's looking for a 2012 fx4 with 3:73 with out the locking dif. and that 3.6 eco boost is a monster to! it pulls like a raped ape on steroids.

FYI i got a 2012 f150 5.0 crew cab for the ****ty 5.3 crew cab.
i have to say i sure like the ford ! i have always owned GM but this new ford made me a believer! all i can say is chevy has a old out dated plat-form and the ford is by far the best damn truck i have ever drove! the 5.0 is a beast when it comes to pulling my trailer! it rides like a truck shooed but car like all at the same time the ford is so nimble its like a much smaller truck as where the chevy feels like its a 10 ton tank!
