Idle Issues HELP!!!
 

I have a 1989 with a 5.8L and the two barrel EFI.
The idle was a little high and I tested the Idle air unit and found the solenoidto be bad. I replaced the whole assyemblyand now it idles even faster. I checked the voltage at the connector with the key in the run position and ther was about 12V. Is my computer bad or is there somthing that controlls this voltage? There is nothing in the book about this so I'm at a loss.
PLEASE HELP!!!
