Here is a few pics of my 1988 Ford F150 4x4 302 5.0L auto transmission. The first 3 pics are of it when it rolled into a hole 6 foot deep. No damage to the frame but needs the bed straightened and a new fuel tank. How many trucks do you know can do that. It took 2 F250s and its own power to get it out locked in 4x4:eek:. I have to get this thing running soon. It is going to my daily driver once I get my learners permit. I dragged my girls 2000 F250 4x4 Triton V10 with this truck. Hers and mine was in 4x4.
Thats my brother in the pic he was laughing plus thats 3/4 of a ton fo scrapAttachment 2054

This is my daughter's 1991 Ford F150 4x4 super cab. It has a 5.8L windsor. My daughter bought it because I own a 1988 F150 that I wish I could of gotten pics of my 1988 but I still can't get the time she got it because she is like me. We haven't done any mods yet probably won't make any on this truck.

My 2006 F150 XL Triton. I bought this used from a guy who used it to haul a Ford tractor to his land out in the country. It is bare bones with no frills. No power seats, windows ...etc. It doesn't even have a CD player ! Just a plain ole AM/FM stero. It did come with the tow package and 4.6 V8 . It rides like a dream.Even the wife doesn't mind driving it.
We bought it just to go camping with.We can throw all our tents, cots and other camping gear in the back and still have room for the bicycles on top.
Now we have purchased a camping trailer to pull behind it so we can camp a little more comfortably.
It's a great truck that rides really well. The old man I bought it from took excellent care of it. With just a little ove 104,000 miles it runs like new.

Hi all, I am a new member and this is my second pickup truck in my life. The first one was in 1972 when I bought myself a nice Datsun pickup. Loved that truck. Now, I just bought myself a 1988 Ford F150 xlt Lariat. It is a nice truck with a nice v8 (5.0L), and an AOD auto tranny. I was shopping for a 5 speed but they are hard to come-by and expensive when you find them. My truck has a lot of little projects that I will be sharing with the group. I've always found these forums to be very beneficial. BTW...my name is Larry
