My F-150 won't start
I have a 1991 ford F-150, I haven't had any problems with it until about a month ago it wouldn't start. Every time I tried to turn it over, it just made a clicking noise (from the starter). A friend told me to give the starter a little tap. I did, and it did the trick for a while. But the day before yesterday I went to start it up, and the same thing. Tapped the starter, nothing. I got a jump from a friend, and it started right up. I then took my battery into the checkers by my house, where they found that my battery has a bad cell and I need a new one. It won't charge at all apparently. I am wondering if I just need to replace the battery, or if I need to replace the starter as well. Any suggestions on this one are much appreciated.

It really needs to be checked with a test lite...see if 12v are getting to the starter while the key is being turned
