Default white smoke

I have a 2008 f150 and till yesterday it was great I went to work and about 10 miles down the road from my house it started to pour out white smoke from the tail pipe not just pouring but billowing i had tocontinue to drive for 20 more miles because I was on the interstate now the motor is locked I have been told by several people that there was something put into the gas what else could have caused it?

does it smell like coolant? if so you could have a blown head gasget or cracked head/block. you should take it to a mechanic as soon as possible because if that is the case you could hydra-lock the engine. would be a bad thing to screw up a good engine over a cheap fix. also has the check engine light come on or anything in that matter?

if it is still under waranty i would just take it in to the repair shop to be safe. i can't really think of anything except water getting inside the cylinders. witch i you should have checked immediatley expecially if there is any knocking or loss of power. if the dealer or repair shop that covers your waranty is far away i would might even go as far as having it towed to be safe.

i wish i could be of more help but i really don't know.

good luck.
