2005 F350 67K miles - Pour it on!

Life's crazy. Sold my motorcycle, bought my wife a 2007 Ford Escape and I kept her car (mazda hatchback) until I figured out what will be my next vehicle. So here I am loaded to the gills with 6ft 4x8's and cement in this tiny car and I see a woman who needs a hand. To shorten this story - I help lady, and she offers to sell me her ex-husbands truck after seeing stupid amount of material I had in this tiny car.

So here's the thing - I have never owned a truck and I have spent the last 8 hours reading reviews and comparing prices all over the country and I can't make sense of peoples reviews.

If you have owned one please share anything with me. ( loves, hates, works, doesn't, get it don't get it, watch for this, try this, be prepared for X, preventive maintenance, how to get better fuel (chips)

I would grab it too. If you can get it for a good price.
They are a great work horse. and comfortable. BUT !!!! They are hard on fuel.

Will you be using it for your every day commute?

Not everyday. Only when I am out logging and need to haul about 5K pounds on a gooseneck flatbed. And a few <10 mile quick trips.
