Well I was driving down the road yesterday and happened to pass a Ford Dealership. Sitting out front of the dealer was a brand new Black 2010 F-350 Lariat Crew Cab. This thing is sharp looking. Because I was curious, I stopped. That truck is so much more truck than the 2006 GMC 2500HD Duramax that we have now and with the Ford Supplier/employee discount along with 0% for 60 months and they would give us $29-$34,000 for the dmax, it comes out to a pretty good deal.

My only concern is the powertrain, I know absolutely nothing about Fords and this has the 6.4liter diesel. How are these engines? how are trannys? How do they stack up against a Duramax/Allison combo?

What do you think? Sticker on the truck is $57,600 and it has all options.

Maybe waiting till the 6.7L hits the streets will allow for better incentives.
