ABS Brake cable broke

Hello, This past weekend I had to chain up my 2008 F-350. The front left chain came off during operation and cut the ABS cable in half. The dashlight came on and that brings me to my qeustion. Can I splice the cable back together? If not where can I buy a new cable and how would I go about replacing it? I also have the tool to reset the computer.I just hate to go to the Ford dealer. Thanks for you help!

you can usually buy those harnesses from the dealer
