brake issues??

New to the forum any help is appreciated. Have a 2004 2 valve 5.4lt f350 xl 4x4 that's suffering catastrophic brake failure. Is there any diagrams on the brake line layout? Brake pedal is really soft. Fluid reservoir stays full.... bled the system to no prevail. Followed the brake lines and it lead me to the rear axel splitter that transfers it to each rear tire... I found a line in, two lines out (one to each tire) then one that leads up to the frame that just suddenly ends. Is this normal? Iv tried to find the place it's possibly supposed to run to but couldnt locate it.

This line you say that goes no where is part of your rear ABS system. It belongs under the truck box.

Did you figure out why you lost your brakes?
Did you have to top up your brake fluid from the fluid loose?

Thanks lots of help... the line I described isn't attached to anything comes off the axel for about 1.5 feet has a v fitting then just ends.. I knew it had to be connected to something but couldn't find the receiving end.

Do you know where abouts the rear abs module is located in the frame? I have looked but cannot seem to locate it. I's it between the frame and gas tank?
