Electrical Issue

I've blown some fuses while connecting a new plug on my camper. I've replaced the mini fuse and the long fuse under the dash but still have no power to the trailer plug. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx much.

Electrical faults

To get more information, tell all ya know as, year, engine, body and anything special. Some Ford trucks have a seperate fuse, and relay mounted on the driver side inner fender. Normally the is not any 12volt power routed to the rear of the truck unless truck is setup for an RV trailer. Any 12volt is used to keep a trailer mounted battery fully charged. Normally there are just 4 electrical circuits to a trailer plus as left and right turn, tail lites and ground. Frank

an easy way to find out if its another fuse is to get a test light and touch the tiny little metal contact points on all the fuses. it should light up on both sides. if not, then its a blown fuse.

It's time to get a test light and start checking from front to back. :(

First step as mentioned.. Test your connecter with a test light or multi meter.
Then test your camper. It sounds like your camper has a bad short.
