Well, first off, welcome to the site!

Second off, what size engine is in the truck? Gas or Diesel? We need to know this in order to suggest a pipe size for your engine.

I have a 96 F-250 with the 460 and I put a Super 44 Flowmaster on and a set of Ford Racing headers and the headers helped with the restriction by quite a bit. From my experience and experimenting with different exhaust system combos the Super 44 and the headers is the way to go. The 50 series more mellow but promotes flow, and the 80s are for certain applications only. I'm fairly certain that the big blocks are 50 series.
