Have 1976 2WD auto with 60k miles and bad 360 motor. Truck belonged to father in law so we aren't selling so want to make a reliable driver out of in and use it and occasionally pull a 3000# trailer. Would like more modern motor and if so a tranny. Fuel injected. I will do all work myself. Would like to stay with Ford stuff but not opposed to diesel. Any ideas for a fairly easy swap?
