Fuel pump

Just a little FYI for those interested.
Bought a fuel pump module for a 1999 S-Blazer.
Bosch #67378 and is a "Made in USA" product!

Will report in on how it works after I install it, noise level etc.

Sub'd
Where is it? mounted in the tank or under the truck on the frame rail ?

It is mounted in the fuel tank.

Installed pump today.
Old pump would barely start the truck, multiple tries to fire and finally run. Would build about 52-53psi @ key on and drop off immediately after pump shut off.
New pump builds 60-62psi and held 40psi after sitting about 1 hr.
Very quiet pump and only had ~3 gallons of fuel on start up. This is the 3rd pump in the Blazer with 181K miles on it. Original went ~95K miles, maintained good pressure but had the typical dead spot in the armature where you hit the tank and it takes off again. Replacement pump made more noise than the OE one did.

Don't recall what brand was in it but I did change the fuel filter several times. So far I think this Bosch pump is going to be a nice unit and would recommend it.

I have a Bosch in my 2001. It works good. I put it in at 94,000, and its at 101,000 now. It actually starts better in the cold with the Bosch pump in it.

And that's in my 2001 Seirra.
