Default Lowered improperly...?

Hello. My father-in-law- recently gave me his 1994 s10 as a gift. I'm really excited about this, and want to get started in fixing some things, and adding a few things I would like. One of my main concerns is that the previous owner before him lowered the truck. Which they didn't go to the extreme, but every time I make a sharp turn, my front tires rub.

I don't want it lowered, and I like the size wheels & tires on it. I'm wanting to lift it either back up, or maybe and 1" to an 1 1/2". Does anyone have any tips, or suggestions on what to do with this problem? Any would be appreciated! Thank you!

A good place to start is to find out which lowering kit it has on it.

With that info you can either remove the kit and replace the components with OEM parts.
