Question Problem??

I have a 2010 F-250 XL, V-8, Auto, 4X4. Had a one year old used Boss plow installed by a dealer last fall. When the plow is plugged in the directional blinkers blink at a fast rate. I also have a trailer/ brake control installed last fall. With a trailer plugged in the lights blink at the normal rate.
I asked the Boss dealer about this and at first he said there was something they could do. later he said it was something to do with the truck. The dealership told me it was nothing to do with the truck and had to do with the Boss plow.

Has anyone had a similar problem and what was the solution??

Jim

I don't know what the solution is. Cause I don't know were the But it sound like your plow has a short in the signal.
When you unplug the plow's electrical will the signals flash normal?

Welcome
I do not know about newer truck wring, but years ago you had to use a heavy duty flasher. Just my 2 cents.

check the flasher relay on the plow fuse box.
