Just bought this truck; 2004 crew cab xlt package, 4 x 4. I was sent the build package from Ford and it states it has the premium stereo with cassette/disc player & clock. Now the dumb part; where is the disc player? It says cd on radio face; push it and it says "no discs" Looked in glove box, center console,rear seat area, under pass. seat. Am I blind?

 

Wow, I wish we had a Ford tech here because I honestly don't know the answer to this one.

Is it possibly one of the ones that the faceplate flips down when you press a button and you put the CD in behind it? Take a pic of the dash please

 

Don't you load all the discs in the radio? My 2005 was like that. There was not a seperate changer the head unit itself held either 5 or 6 discs. A dash pic would be helpful too.
