re-wiring

hey guys i am re-wiring every thing under my dash because the previous owner (which i have no contact with this person) has alot of it rigged and i want to get rid of it. if any one knows the easiest way to do this please let me know the model and year of my truck is a 1979 F.250 single cab with a 460 big block thank you for taking your time to read this thread.

There are a few different ways depending on your skill and patience level. You could find a truck with the same harness in a junk yard and pull it and install it in your truck, you could go for an aftermarket harness like a painless brand, or you could splice in new wires and make the previous owners mess cleaner. The first one being very time consuming to pull 2 and install one. The 2nd one would be the hardest - trying to figure out all the wires and the last one would be the easiest and cheapest. It would probably work just as well as the others too.

I agree getting another harness from the junk yard or autoparts store would be the best route.
