replacing ignition switch
 

i just bought a 1989 xlt lariet f-350 dually, i need to replace the ignition switch but have never replaced one, do i have to pull the steering wheel off and take the column apart, i know it sounds stupid but i ve never got into one, is this a hard job? any info thanks
