sliding back glass for 02 f250

sliding back glass for 02 f250
I have a 02 f250 with a flat back glass and I'm wanting to install a sliding back glass...Guy at the glass shop says it will fit but not flush and will stick out about 3/8" in the back........Just wondering if any one here has done this to their truck with different results.......Thanks for any replies.....
