slow speed surge

I have a 2005 F250 super duty. 5.4l gas. When trying to go slow the gas surges and the truck hunts. Any ideas?

I'd start out by getting a code scan. If you don't have a scanner, a lot of parts stores will do it for free. I believe both Autozone and Advance Auto Parts provide free code readings.
