Default Which Truck to Choose for Heavy Loads

Hi everybody. I am going to puchase a truck for my business to transport heavy things around the state.
I am considering Ford, especially https://www.wallworktrucks.com/2018-...-specification
Please, look at the specification and let me know what you thing about this truck to handle regularly 5 ton loads.
Maybe you may recommend me another reliable truck you personally used.

Get the 6.7 ford diesel in that truck....its a monster. Ive got a 4 door 2016 f350 flat bed dump dually that I haul gravel, skid steer and mini excavator on a trailer all at the same time..I am sure I am over loaded sometimes but the truck still pulls like crazy. its got a 4.10 gear in the rear end. I regularly load the dump body with 6-8k of stone for jobs, and the truck barely notices it...with the f450 spring pack and heavier tires on your spec you'll have no problems.
The fuel economy on the 6.7 is pretty good usually around 11-15mpg ...hard to say because I drive a lot of hilly country roads
The 6.7 diesel is also really smooth and quiet if you are in the truck for a long time
I recommend the diesel for sure
good luck!

Hi,

The Ford F-450 is a good truck to transport heavy loads like 5 tons. It's a strong engine and work-designed frame. Most people use it to haul and tow heavy loads.

If you will be carrying 5 tons on a regular basis, the F-450 is more appropriate than lighter trucks like the F-250 or F-350. It has a greater capacity and is designed to handle heavy work.

I've had an F-450 before for heavy equipment, and it worked perfectly with no problems.
