Default Truck Problems... :( Help

Hey all,
Im new to the forum. I have a 2001 f-250 super duty and its been nothing but hell since i bought this truck. (i wont get into details now)

My problem is right now, while driving the engine seems to all the sudden start shaking (side to side ) enough you can feel it in the cab, then the engine light pops on.... So I pill over turn the truck off wait a few min and it seems to run fine for a while then does it again. Does anyone know what might be wrong?

Thanks for the help
Jenna

Exclamation cmshaft sensor failure

i bet if you check your error codes you will get a camshaft sensor error
it is the main problme with the diesel engines, most owners carry an extra sensor with them in the glovebox because they fail all the time. also i have read if you clean the contacts on the sensors it works sometimes!?!?
good luck to you. i have been fighting a camshaft sensor error on my gas engine 5.4 it has two sensors on it replaced both cleaned connectors still getting the error!?!? any help from out there would be nice.. thanks
