Truck warranty

Hello everyone:
My boss bought a 2010 f350 to pull the horse trailer but we are getting 8.5 mpg so I asked around for a performance chip and bought an edge. I know that this will void the warranty but the company I bought it from said that I could flash it back to stock. Is it possible for the dealership to find out that I'm tuning it with a performance ship?
Thanks.

I am not posietively sure of this but I would think with a truck like that the truck will have it saved into the computer. I mean we have a 2002 Ford F250 4x4 and it has a banks turbo exhaust and airaid intake system and I was told by the ford delarship they can find that out. Personally I would never chip a truck because if the chip goes bad it can mess with the truck. I didn't put in the intake system on our 2002 but I have the Triton V10 which just about everybody is getting 8 to 12 around where I am with super cab trucks and we have a crew cab that is getting 17.5 miles per gallon and I believe it is because of the Airaid intake system but I doubt it is teh Banks turbo exhaust because that was for mainly cool sound.:D But thats off topic so back to about your truck I would have to probably say yes because of the computer in the truck.
