My Truck Sputtering

I have a 1991 Mazda B2600. I'm having some engine problems and needed some advice. Every time I accelerate, the car just kinda sputters. It goes slow as hell. It doesn't get up to go. I changed the spark plug wires. Any idea what it could be.

RE: My Truck Sputtering

Could be several things related to fuel, air and spark. Try changing out the fuel filter and having the injectors cleaned or replaced. Changing plugs could also help. Clean out the TB with some TB cleaner. Have you checked you Thermostat? If a thermo is stuck open, it can cause your truck to NOT go into closed loop mode. This allowing the engines emissions and fuel delivery systems to work properly. Your truck has to operate at a certain temp for everything to work. Your O2 sensor has to hit a certain temp to go into closed loop. Sorry to throw out so much, but it truly can be anything.
