Removing a Lowering Kit on a Ranger

At my place of work we just aquired a 1996 Ford Ranger. Everything is fine with it except someone installed a lowering kit on it. We do a lot of off road work with our trucks and this one can't go off road until we get it raised. SoI have two questions. Where can I get some springs like the ones that were originally on it and how hard are they to install. Any help here would be much appreciated.

I am almost thinking a salvage yard would be the best place to get them, or maybe even an auto parts store. What are you going to do with the lowering kit? I am actually looking for a lowering kit for a ranger. Mine is an 89 but I think it will still work.
