RIP 96 Mazda you will be missed

Sure it could be a CS posi sensor or it could be a number of other things.
If it was SUDDEN and no warning... it must have been an electrical issue.
Do you still have other electrical?
Will it still turn over (but not fire)

turns over good no other elec problems that I can tell .2.3L 4 cyl was running real good before it died just turns over no pop back fire .

Have you checked for fuel pressure? Maybe the fuel pump went out?

dino/dog Apr 15, 2011 05:15 AM

getting fuel shot it with starting fluid still didnt start

In2Trux Apr 15, 2011 07:04 AM

Well if it's getting good spark and fuel theoretically it should run. So it maybe the camshaft positioning sensor or a timing issue.

remove the oil cap and have some one try starting the truck do you see the valve train moving? If not then your timing belt/chain broke.

Could be a compression problem, stuck valve etc
