00 silverado misses between 2200-2800
 

I have a 2000 4.3 v-6 silverado i have recently changed plugs,wires,cap,rotor,fuel pump, fp relay,fuel filter .now truck is missing at about 2200 rpms thru 2800 but if i step on it it runs great. any tips on what it could be?????

Hey i would check fuel pressure first. Maybe the new pump is faulty. In those 4.3 engines they use poppet styel fuel injectors. Pressure must be atleast 55-62 psi. If the pressure is ok i would then get the fuel injecters cleaned by using Seafoam motor treatment through an vaccum line. Good Luck!

the most common miss on those is having wires crossed..was the miss there before you started?
