I have a 06 ext.cab z-71 with 5.3l and want an exhaust with dual striaghts out the back but the new ext cabs are a little longer and the only option in my price range of $400 is flowmaster cat-back.Will a cat-back for a 03 ext cab fit with a little work or is there more choices I can't find? All info will be nice thank you.

 

you can do what you want if your not buying a system shops can also custom bend piping. a single in dual out flowmaster muffler and 2 pipes comin out the back is what your lookin for. probably cost you about 300 to get done.

 

I have seen posts all around this forum of people saying that $300 for a Flow installed with turn downs or something is a great deal! I live in Texas, and if you take $300 to a muffler shop, you have so many options that it's not real.

First exhaust change:
They dualed my truck out...2.25in pipe...18in glasspacks...$100.

Second:
Dual Flowtechs...2.25in pipe...and stainless steel echoe tips straigh out the back...$190.

Maybe alot of folks are getting the custom exhaust set-ups or something...Or maybe my truck is just old and I don't have to worry about screwing any kind of special sensor or new electrical gadget up...

Anyway, you may be surprised if you talk to a local muffler shop.
