305 trouble
 

I'm the proud owner of a 82 c 10 im having a problem with it hard to start cold high rpm studer smell gas could it be the mechanical fuel pump like a tare in the diagram

so you have a gas smell, a high RPM studder and cold start issues?

Have you noticed any leaking fuel around? or loose, cracked or broken fuel lines?

no it don't seem to be leaking but try to take off with force it back fires and dont pull just put fresh plugs cap and rotor wire are good and new fuel filter

but i can block the line with a finger it seems to have low fuel pressure
