Default 91 Blazer - Heater Issues

Problem with FIL's Blazer. The fuse that regulates the heater (fan) keeps blowing - he's apparently replaced the heater blower recently and that's not the issue. Heater fan works for a period, but if fan is turned OFF, then there is no fan at all when turned back on (fuse blows). No other electrical issues present.

Any ideas? Responses to list and email address also appreciated.

how was the blower wired in? sounds like you may need a relay to reduce the amp draw your getting when the fan is first turned on. theres my two cents
