95 c/k exhaust

If I switch to true duals on this truck is some sensor going to go stupid on me? I don't see any screwed into the convertor which will be going away... No testing in my area.

I took the cats off of my 97 silverado and my check engin light was always on so i would imagin it was a sensor but im not positive on that. But the light did start coming on the day i took them off.
