Can anyone offer any advice???

Ok I have a 95 yukon 4x4 with 5.7. I bought this thing and it runs good but very rich. Check engine light comes on and off when it feels like it. It has a melling mtc1 rv cam springs and rockers, Tbi spacer, pacesetter headers and three inch flowmaster exauhst, no cat. 160 degree thermostat. If you hook up the egr it falls on its face and then takes off and misses once in a while at idle, unhooked it runs fine but very rich. Does anyone have an idea?? No computer mods have been done.
