i just got an old beat up 62 chevy c-10. i'm workin on a budget but i'm not ready to spen money yet. i'm still tearing it down. it has a 235ci L6 in it that i'm thinking about keeping. i'm looking for ideas on how i can get a little more ***** out of it.can anyone give a couple good places to start?

 

a general tune up would be good. or a manual transsmission would unleash all that low end torque.... not a whole lot of power in those straight 6s but lots of low end torque.
