gmc 1995 engine swap
 

Hello, I have a 1995 gmc 1500 4x4 reg cab with a 6cyl, I asume its a 4.3L. its in realy bad shape, I'd like to swap it to a 350 or realy anything else that can do the job. whats my options and where can I get the most information, I've been going true the forum but I seem to have lost the touch to find information I guess,

Your best bet is to hit the salvage yards (unless you want to put in a new motor). You will need to change the ECM. The motor mounts should be the same as well as the transmission. So it isn't that hard to do. I did a 305 to 350 swap in the same year truck. Finding a donor vehicle makes the job alot easier though!
