Default My new 2008 Tahoe

I bought a 08' Tahoe with a 5.3L V8 Flex fuel system with a tow package and was thinking of putting a Magnaflow w/dual exhaust in it. Some places are telling me I would have to remove the spare. Would the sound change when it drops to a 4 cylinder? Any help or suggestions would greatly appreciated.

This is coming from a Sales Rep at Stylin, yes you would have to remove your spare tire, if magnaflow says so it is a must. That is why I am not going with Maganflow. I am personally putting a Corsa exhaust on my truck, I will have it on in about 2 weeks. Give or take a week, its near impossible with me to find a day off to get it put on due to going to college full time and working full time too. But in the 4CYL mode, Corsa garuntees that there will be no droneing, which is that noise everyone hates, even in 4 cyl. Magnaflow claims theres doesnt either. Of course sound though is going to change, you wont even be able to hear your exhaust at all in 4 cyl, but as soon as you step on the gas it changes to the V8 then anyways so whenever you step on the gas you will here it, its pretty much a give in with magnaflow, thats why I am going with Corsa, the have a nice subtle tone when just driving normaly, but when givin the gas, it roars like no other.
