i have a 05 GMC 4x4 with a 5.3 in it.. It will not start, the security devise is activated and it will not let me start it .. have tried locking and unlocking it .. tried taking off batt cables.. turning on and waiting 10 mins then trying to start it .. and nothing is working.. please help

 

Is it a case of not being able to turn the key at all? If so you have to turn the steering wheel one way or the other to get the key to turn... I dunno why.

A little more information on what the key does or the soudn it makes would be helpful.

the reason you have to turn your wheel one way or the other is cause someone in the car company came up with the bright idea of steering wheel locks inside the steering wheel
i learned that when my 05 crown vic stall out in an intersection and i ended up in a ditch my buddy pulled me out but i could steer unless the key was on the one just before starting
sucked cause i screwed up all my alighnment
thank goodness big o tires does them for 65 bucks
