Osolating vibration in 3rd but not in OD

Osolating vibration in 3rd but not in OD
I have a 90 Vandura 350 automatic, with 70,000 miles on it. If I have it in Drive, sometimes, when it reaches 45, it has an osolating vibration. If I then place it in Overdrive, the vibration stops. If I then put it back in Drive the vibration starts again.
Has anyone experienced this problem, or any idea what the cause may be? Thanks
