Please Help With 350 5.7l
 

I recently got a 74 C10 with a 350 sb in it. The motor was suppostily rebuilt less than 10,000 miles ago. Seems to run fine with no knocks but with one thing that is bothering me. Once warmed up, it smokes lightly at idel and when accelerating till i get to probly 3,000 rpm then it stops till i get to the next redlight. the smoke is white to light grey. but the wieird thing is that it only smokes out the passenger side. It has headers with strait pipes to some glasspacks. even when i seafoamed today the majority of the smoke was out the passenger side.
it wasnt smokeing when it was set to idel at like 1-1200 rpm but i lowered the idel speed and this started.
Any ideas why? Why just one side? The only thing I know i need to replace is the egr valve and the carb may need a rebuild but im not sure.
Also, it doesnt seem to have the power a 350 should have, i cant burn-outhttp://www.fullthrottlev6.com/forums...milies/sad.gif, what could that be, rearend gearing maybe?

oh yea, and im not sure if it is the stock motor that came in the truck, it might have been swapped and rebuilt, i know the distibutor has been because it is the HEI distibutor.

Do a compression test on the smoky side.
