i have a 1990 chevy p/u 350 with throttle body,manual trans. when i apply moderate to heavy throttle in any gear,the truck will miss hard multple times in a second or two. acts like a cloged fuel filter but isnt have replaced it checked plugs and wires, air intake all seem to be ok. checked for fault codes but none come up..also this may or may not be related but the parking brake light just started flashing a code 8 short 1 long then repeats. any input about this problem would greatly be appreciated, thanks

 

Sounds like a dist cap..Make sure you get a decent one (Delco,Borg warner..)
The brake lite thing is unrelated...pull the 15a STOP fuse at the bottom row of the fuses for about 5 seconds and she should clear
