Mine died in my Duramax . Found a place on line and sent it out for repair, 300 bucks I think . Bad stepper motors , common problem for GM dasnes. I found the repair shop on line Southern Electronics I think in the carolinas works great now.

Had mine done under warranty.
Also had my intermediate steering shaft done as well.

Faulty speedometer can cause major driving issues which can lead to speed related accidents. So Checkout wheather the speedometer is broken or not, there is only way to fix a broken speedometer is by complete replacement.

what will be the cost of new speedometer? I want to buy it

I got my instrument completely repaired by myairbags. Been working ever since :D
