I'm totally gutting a 1986 full size jimmy and turning it into a mudder. I was thinking about welding the spider gears together since it will never see pavement. problem is, I'm not sure which gears are the spider gears. I've never been involved in working on rear ends before. Is this a fairly good idea? If so I need to find out which ones are the spider gears.
