Winter Parking-Garage vs outside when cold
I reside in Alaska and in the winters our temps have gone as low as -40s, I have in the past parked my truck in garage and had friends say that going from warm-frigid and back again was bad for it and that just best to leave in cold and allow to warm up and keep plugged in.... Any thoughts?

living in northdakota i feel your pain...lol but keep it in the garage just don't have the heat cranked in there keep the heat set at 32-33* save on the heat bill and will feel warm in there compared to outside, better than a block heater for keeping all your fluids/oil warm. and the best part no scraping ice or brushing snow off the windows.

I live in Maine and have been garaging mine for 20 years now with no issues due to 'keeping it warm.' I can't really see what damage your friend would be referring to...
