hey guys, need some help.my 69 c20 wrecker has a wiper problem. just bought it, and when i try to run the wipers, it instantly knocks out the fuse if i have it wired according to the diagram.. could it be that the motor needs to be isolated from the body??? i have it jury rigged at present, but it is only single speed (slow). in another life, it seems to me i remember some plastic washers as a part of the mounting process???any help appreciated

Ya they normaly had that plastic/rubber insulators as part of it's mounting.
but that wasn't to insulate it electrically.
